ARTÈRIA TORTOSA returns, the multidisciplinary performing arts festival directed by Roberto Olivan

The contest was born last year as a result of the joint work between the City Council of Tortosa and ROPA / Roberto Olivan Performing Arts within the framework of the Capital of Catalan Culture. The festival was created with the aim of becoming an annual interdisciplinary show that combines the performing arts with science, technology and nature, in an artistic space that invites the linking of new artistic and social languages.

L’OBRADOR Espai de Creació hosts 4 artistic residencies this August, the first of the 2021 call

This 2021 is the second year that L’OBRADOR Espai de Creació de Deltebre hosts artists who work in movement disciplines through a residency program. The call was opened last spring and included five modalities (four for dance and one for the circus) for projects in various stages of development (research, creation and production). In this open call L’OBRADOR has received 109 requests from artists and companies, 55% of which are of foreign origin and sixteen nationalities.

GOLD, the latest show by Roberto Olivan, nominated for the Premis Teatre Barcelona

TeatreBarcelona, the digital performing arts magazine of reference in the city of Barcelona, has kicked off a new edition of the Premis Teatre Barcelona. Among the nominees for this year’s edition, GOLD stands out, the latest show by the Tortosa dancer and choreographer Roberto Olivan, which premiered on April 1 at the Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona. It is a contemporary dance creation for four performers, with original music by the Italian composer Riccardo Nova and performed live by the Icarus Ensemble musical group.
